Four decades of global recognition
For over four decades, the Studex name has signified trust and safety in ear piercing and is recognised globally as the world’s largest manufacturer of ear piercing earrings, instruments and after care products.
As a retail focussed business, we worked with the Studex team to design and build a new e-commerce website for the retail client to purchase from. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, support to their trade customers became even more essential and the site and offering to the Studex client continued to evolve.
The Studex UK brand was refined to be more modern and reflective of their target audience. We are delighted that the USA have recently picked up this new brand too.
Although mostly dealing with trade, the consumer is always in mind with Studex’s trade customers using the same assets to push to the consumer. With a clean cut, modern style and clear messaging, the site needed to contain a whole host of information but be quick and simple to navigate.
The site also featured a multi-layered membership system, allowing Studex’s customers to purchase only the products they were licensed to, as well as enabling Studex to keep customers coming back with varying levels of discount and incentives.
Alongside the website came their new and innovative Media Hub – gated content for Studex members to register and view campaigns, download marketing assets and read up on the latest business guidance. This new feature has created a friendly community of members wanting to stay in the know and has significantly increased website orders, cutting down on phone orders and generally being a much more efficient process for both the business and their customers.
We have been so impressed with how quickly the hue team worked with us to understand and achieve our goals and business needs. Blogs created twice a month are scheduled in line with key dates (did you know there was such a thing as National Unicorn Day?!) and utilised for social channels and email marketing, both of which we fully manage for our client. Emails are structured, social posts are consistent and business contacts for Studex are steadily increasing.
We have monthly client review meetings to discuss future requirements and ideas in order to ensure a thorough schedule and busy social calendar. We also hold quarterly photography shoots to keep imagery up to date and fresh, directing the shoot as required in order to achieve the results the client is after.
Specific campaigns are created throughout the year to support their ongoing marketing plan. These include creation of video and animated content, posters and social assets for customers to utilise as well as campaign specific social posts.
The team at hue have added a real sense of life and purpose to our social media with finely tuned schedules, photoshoots and plans to promote a consistent brand image and message while having the flexibility to react to our fast moving business when required.
